Organizer: Dr. Kasra Haghighi

Biography: Dr. Kasra Haghighi is the founder and CEO at Uniquesec. He got his PhD in communication engineering and cognitive radio from Chalmers University of Technology and has been the winner of several national and international innovation and invention awards. He has also co-founded few tech startups. He is an IEEE senior member. He co-invented an award-winning frequency-based automotive radar target simulator, ASGARD1.

Organizer: Dr. Hooman Kaabi

Biography: Dr. Hooman Kaabi is an associate professor in electrical engineering, renowned for his expertise in innovative circuit design and significant contributions to cutting-edge research in analogue and digital circuit design.

Workshop 3:
Title: Visible Light Communications and its Applications
Organizer: Dr. Foroogh S. Tabataba

Biography: Foroogh S. Tabataba received the B.S. degree (with honors) in electrical engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, in 2004 and the M.Sc. and the Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2006 and 2011, respectively.  In February 2012, she joined communication group in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Isfahan University of Technology where she is now an associate professor. She has won young professor grant of National Elite Foundation in September 2012. Her research interests include communication systems theory, wireless communications (5G & 6G), optical communications, vehicle to vehicle communication, and optimization.
